I started my career in India, where I spent 4.5 years working in digital and e-commerce marketing for fashion and footwear brands. That phase helped me build a strong foundation in performance marketing, content, and online sales.
After that, I secured an opportunity in Dubai—directly from India, without any agency or recruitment firm.
Dubai today is full of opportunities, but it’s also competitive. Companies are not just looking for people who “know” digital marketing—they want professionals who can deliver results.
What worked for me:
- Building strong hands-on skills (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, Google Analytics,& E-commerce Marketing)
- Focusing on performance and measurable results ( ROAS, KPI, ROI, CTR, CPC)
- Upskilling day by day, month by month. Learn new skills like Amazon Ads, Noon Ads, and TikTok Marketing
- Creating a CV that highlights achievements, not just responsibilities
- Applying consistently and reaching out directly to recruiters
My honest advice:
Your location doesn’t matter as much as your skills and proof of work. If you can show results and stay consistent, you can land opportunities—even from outside the UAE.
